Narrative:
On VFR flight plan 1v5 direct sba, on V394 at overton, nv, nellis approach offered me 230 degrees direct sba and I accepted, assuming she had authority/authorized to vector me through R2505. She then handed me off to las. Near shoshone, las departure warned me not to enter R2505. I canceled flight following, declared intention to divert to barstow, and turned south on the dag 10 degree radial. Intended to skirt R2502 but may have cut southeast corner of R2502E. Might have avoided incident if I had queried nellis specifically about R2505.

Narrative: ON VFR FLT PLAN 1V5 DIRECT SBA, ON V394 AT OVERTON, NV, NELLIS APCH OFFERED ME 230 DEGS DIRECT SBA AND I ACCEPTED, ASSUMING SHE HAD AUTH TO VECTOR ME THROUGH R2505.
