Narrative:
Female was verbally abusive, disruptive, belligerent, and interfered with the crew and refused to comply with crew instructions. At one point, I had to leave the cockpit and my safety related duties to address the situation. The severity of the passenger's actions required a return to the gate and her removal by auths. Note: the remaining passenger actually cheered when this disruptive passenger was finally removed. We were asked by the police if we wanted to file charges, and we replied to the affirmative. However, the fbi refused to get involved and as a result the officers said they could not prosecute and had to release the individual. Needless to say, we were all appalled by the fbi's decision not to get involved. It saddens us all to recognize the lack of support that we can expect from the federal government and air carrier when it comes to the prosecution of abusive and disruptive passenger.

Title: ACR RETURNS TO GATE TO REMOVE PAX CAUSING DISTURBANCE. AUTHS RELEASED PAX AND WOULD NOT SUPPORT CREW'S DESIRE TO FILE CHARGES FOR PROSECUTION.
Narrative: FEMALE WAS VERBALLY ABUSIVE, DISRUPTIVE, BELLIGERENT, AND INTERFERED WITH THE CREW AND REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH CREW INSTRUCTIONS. AT ONE POINT, I HAD TO LEAVE THE COCKPIT AND MY SAFETY RELATED DUTIES TO ADDRESS THE SIT. THE SEVERITY OF THE PAX'S ACTIONS REQUIRED A RETURN TO THE GATE AND HER REMOVAL BY AUTHS. NOTE: THE REMAINING PAX ACTUALLY CHEERED WHEN THIS DISRUPTIVE PAX WAS FINALLY REMOVED. IT SADDENS US ALL TO RECOGNIZE THE LACK OF SUPPORT THAT WE CAN EXPECT FROM THE FEDERAL GOV AND ACR WHEN IT COMES TO THE PROSECUTION OF ABUSIVE AND DISRUPTIVE PAX.
