Narrative:

Failed to meet crossing restr of 13000 ft at dawna intersection on kayoh 4 arrival sna. Center controller kept us too high for too long for traffic. Crossing restr dropped out of FMGS and resulted in incorrect profile descent information. Conducting IOE in aircraft. FMC software has a problem of dropping crossing restrs upon altitude changes. Software needs to be updated to prevent this occurrence.

Narrative: FAILED TO MEET XING RESTR OF 13000 FT AT DAWNA INTXN ON KAYOH 4 ARR SNA. CTR CTLR KEPT US TOO HIGH FOR TOO LONG FOR TFC. XING RESTR DROPPED OUT OF FMGS AND RESULTED IN INCORRECT PROFILE DSCNT INFO. CONDUCTING IOE IN ACFT. FMC SOFTWARE HAS A PROB OF DROPPING XING RESTRS UPON ALT CHANGES.
