Narrative:
On jul/xa/99 at approximately XA00, I was instructing a student on some private pilot maneuvers when I noticed that we were close to grr class C airspace. We possibly entered the outer shelf area west of the airport at about 2500 ft MSL. I plted the aircraft below 2000 ft MSL and made a turn to the west. My loss of situational awareness was due to my involvement in teaching a maneuver to my student, dusk, and slight hazy conditions. In the future, dividing my attention between tasks in order to maintain my situational awareness will be a goal on every flight.
