Narrative:
Taxiing to runway 26L we received taxi instructions to taxi to taxiway A3. We apparently were not in the right taxiway and were instructed by ground to hold position until a 'follow me' could lead us to the runway. The reason for this report is that the controller said 'we were too big' for the taxiway (wing span) and needed guidance from 'follow me.' however, airport page (commercial chart) and our company has no such restrs for any runway.
