Narrative:

Touch and go practice. Made 2 good lndgs, making final circuit. Due to summer haze was watching traffic ahead and failed to use gumps or checklist on last approach to landing. Also was thinking about propeller surge noted on last touch and go. Sharp eyed pilot waiting for takeoff noted no gear and called for a go around. Executed go around and made an uneventful landing. Contributing was a recent flight with flight instructor who suggested using gear override on takeoff to speed gear retraction. A good wake up call to be more careful.
