Narrative:
MEL report. #1 idg inoperative in mia. Mechanic checked all oil levels. Crew was informed that all oil levels checked good. However, the mechanic did not write it in the MEL as required by the MEL. We did not notice it until reviewing the MEL in-flight.

Title: CREW HAD IMPROPER MEL DOCUMENTATION.
Narrative: MEL RPT. #1 IDG INOP IN MIA. MECH CHKED ALL OIL LEVELS. CREW WAS INFORMED THAT ALL OIL LEVELS CHKED GOOD. HOWEVER, THE MECH DID NOT WRITE IT IN THE MEL AS REQUIRED BY THE MEL. WE DID NOT NOTICE IT UNTIL REVIEWING THE MEL INFLT.
