Narrative:
Checked tire pressures upon arrival to aircraft. Tires were still warm. #1 was 8 pounds high, did not let air out. We changed #3 tire. Tire was high after me and the FAA inspector looked at it. I took the pressure down to limits. Supervisor told him we do not check tires after we change them cause they should come out of the shop the proper psi.
