Narrative:
On approach into lax, we were assigned runway 25R. Other traffic was on approach for the north side of the airport, runway 24R. As the PF turned onto the localizer, we got a 'descend now' TCASII alert. We were already descending and the alert went away. We had come in from an 11 hour flight. We had traffic in front of us on runway 25L we were trying to slow for. And we had traffic on our left and right. All were in sight. We should have turned earlier onto the localizer to avoid swinging too wide on the intercept.
