Narrative:
Reserve on the XA00-XI00 window, we were called for an out and back to crw, wv, at XG30. Departing crw, the captain hurried me along with the checklists (taxi and before takeoff). Being a new first officer, I wanted to keep up and not slow us down, and with 90 hours in the plane, I was foolishly comfortable enough to think I could keep up this rapid pace. On takeoff roll, after advancing the power levers only slightly, we got a takeoff confign aural warning 'flaps.' we aborted uneventfully. The flaps were never selected to 15 degrees for takeoff as it calls for in our checklists. It's a challenge/response checklist, so somewhere in our haste we both failed to notice flaps were never selected to 15 degrees. We back-taxied to make up for the lost runway during the abort and then departed uneventfully after selecting flaps 15 degrees. I know I've learned from this that regardless of the tone the captain sets, I will from now on go at my own pace.

ON TKOF ROLL, AFTER ADVANCING THE PWR LEVERS ONLY SLIGHTLY, WE GOT A TKOF CONFIGN AURAL WARNING 'FLAPS.' WE ABORTED UNEVENTFULLY. THE FLAPS WERE NEVER SELECTED TO 15 DEGS FOR TKOF AS IT CALLS FOR IN OUR CHKLISTS. IT'S A CHALLENGE/RESPONSE CHKLIST, SO SOMEWHERE IN OUR HASTE WE BOTH FAILED TO NOTICE FLAPS WERE NEVER SELECTED TO 15 DEGS. WE BACK-TAXIED TO MAKE UP FOR THE LOST RWY DURING THE ABORT AND THEN DEPARTED UNEVENTFULLY AFTER SELECTING FLAPS 15 DEGS. I KNOW I'VE LEARNED FROM THIS THAT REGARDLESS OF THE TONE THE CAPT SETS, I WILL FROM NOW ON GO AT MY OWN PACE.
