Narrative:
On taxi out we were expecting runway 36R when we received instructions for runway 35L. 'Standard taxi.' the first officer referenced the procedure as I was turning onto intersection js. The first officer said we needed to be on taxiway left, I turned to go over to taxiway left. As I taxied, ground asked where I was going. I replied 'taxiway left to runway 35L.' ground said 'ok.' I later checked the 'standard procedure' and found that intersection js was correct. The first officer had read the procedure for runway 35L intersection ep. I should've referenced it myself when there was a doubt or asked the ground controller.
