Narrative:
While departing bwi on the swann 2 SID we missed the turn to 150 degrees at 3 DME. Departure then told us to turn and join the departure. No conflicts were involved. Part of the problem during the climb out was the presence of a target on TCASII. This distracted both of us and we missed the turn at 3 DME.
