Assigned clearance to cross 75 mi west of mmj VOR at FL190. Began descent in appropriate spot, but evidently misjudged tailwind and leveled off at FL190 at 74 DME west of mmj VOR. ATC requested that we 'confirm our altitude,' which we did. No further comments from ATC. Remainder of flight uneventful.
