Narrative:
Air carrier X was on right base for runway 24R lax to turn ahead of air carrier Y, who was straight in for runway 25L lax. After being given a turn to join final, air carrier X flew through the localizer and into the path of air carrier Y. Air carrier Y had to turn left off of his final to miss air carrier X.

Narrative: ACR X WAS ON R BASE FOR RWY 24R LAX TO TURN AHEAD OF ACR Y, WHO WAS STRAIGHT IN FOR RWY 25L LAX. AFTER BEING GIVEN A TURN TO JOIN FINAL, ACR X FLEW THROUGH THE LOC AND INTO THE PATH OF ACR Y. ACR Y HAD TO TURN L OFF OF HIS FINAL TO MISS ACR X.
