Narrative:
The runway 9R lahso procedure on the xyz air carrier at ord operations chart special page refers to page 20-9A for the rejected landing procedure. While there are rejected landing procedures on page 20-9A for other runways there is none for runway 9R. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter was called to be advised that ASRS could not identify his airline for any corrections to his company operating manual. Since he was with the union safety committee, he was aware of that restr. He simply wanted this information in the database as there is this ongoing struggle to standardize the missed approach, 'balked landing' procedures as listed in the green pages with the procedures that are listed on the approach plates produced by a separate company for instrument approachs. This is important due to the use of lahso at ord and other airports. He did send in a company report for correcting the situation or oversight.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN L1011 PIC RPTS ON A MISSING PIECE OF INFO IN THE AIRLINE'S SPECIAL GREEN PAGES. THE MISSED APCH PROC (REJECTED LNDG PROC) FOR RWY 9R IS MISSING.
Narrative: THE RWY 9R LAHSO PROC ON THE XYZ ACR AT ORD OPS CHART SPECIAL PAGE REFERS TO PAGE 20-9A FOR THE REJECTED LNDG PROC. WHILE THERE ARE REJECTED LNDG PROCS ON PAGE 20-9A FOR OTHER RWYS THERE IS NONE FOR RWY 9R. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR WAS CALLED TO BE ADVISED THAT ASRS COULD NOT IDENT HIS AIRLINE FOR ANY CORRECTIONS TO HIS COMPANY OPERATING MANUAL. SINCE HE WAS WITH THE UNION SAFETY COMMITTEE, HE WAS AWARE OF THAT RESTR. HE SIMPLY WANTED THIS INFO IN THE DATABASE AS THERE IS THIS ONGOING STRUGGLE TO STANDARDIZE THE MISSED APCH, 'BALKED LNDG' PROCS AS LISTED IN THE GREEN PAGES WITH THE PROCS THAT ARE LISTED ON THE APCH PLATES PRODUCED BY A SEPARATE COMPANY FOR INST APCHS. THIS IS IMPORTANT DUE TO THE USE OF LAHSO AT ORD AND OTHER ARPTS. HE DID SEND IN A COMPANY RPT FOR CORRECTING THE SIT OR OVERSIGHT.
