Narrative:
While performing maintenance controller training 'on-the-job,' trainee provided work instruction to outstation technicians upon discovery of a small, approximately 1 inch crack, r-hand side of aircraft nose section, third rib aft of radome bulkhead. Aircraft was subsequently flown from XXX, us, to ZZZ, us, without any repair action taken. Aircraft was taken OTS at arrival to ZZZ and repaired. Upon further inspection, 2 small 1 inch cracks r-hand side of nose on third bulkhead were found, and repaired per srm 53-01 figure 4 by installing 2 doublers. Trainer (myself) was distraction with other aircraft maintenance problems being called into the ZZZ control office during the time the trainee was dealing with the XXX crack problem. The XXX outstation maintenance supervisor suggested to maintenance control trainee to fly aircraft to heavy maintenance base for repair, which is what happened. Aircraft was flown XXX-ZZZ in violation of FARS, having no corrective action taken at time of damage discovery.
