Narrative:
A passenger was walking around the cabin, while we were taxiing back to gate to have the communication equipment checked. Another flight attendant encountered him in the forward cabin and told him to return to his seat. He refused. She informed him to situation, and that if he didn't, she would have the auths meet the flight. I got involved later, because I was walking through the cabin and he complained to me about it and wanted to file a complaint with the company. It turns out that the flight attendant he had the encounter with was the #1 flight attendant and he was detained by the auths. The flight then departed after the communication part was replaced. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the man was walking around the cabin barefooted during boarding, because he 'just liked to walk.' after the man refused many requests from the flight attendants to situation down, the purser told the captain, who decided to have the police meet the flight when they got to the gate. The police detained the man, who got belligerent with them, as well as his family. The flight left without them.

ANOTHER FLT ATTENDANT ENCOUNTERED HIM IN THE FORWARD CABIN AND TOLD HIM TO RETURN TO HIS SEAT. HE REFUSED. SHE INFORMED HIM TO SIT, AND THAT IF HE DIDN'T, SHE WOULD HAVE THE AUTHS MEET THE FLT.
