Narrative:
In regards to flight xyz from msp-phx on the morning of feb/xa/00, I take full responsibility for taking the right flight, but the wrong aircraft! We had a deicing situation and I let my mind get preoccupied with that situation and failed to see that the local operations had put us on the wrong aircraft. Our aircraft was 2 doors down at another gate. Both aircraft had identical engines, so there was no compromise in performance due to different engines. To correct this problem from happening again in the future, I will pay closer attention to paperwork detail.
