Narrative:

We had moderate to severe chop. We ended beverage/meal service early due to turbulence. The chop was so severe I had difficulty standing and maintaining my balance. The cart was extremely heavy and the wheels/axles were old and difficult to maneuver. The cart was about to tip over. I did not want it to fall and cause injury to crew member standing beside it, so I grabbed it and shoved it in its position north galley. I took my seat for the remainder of the flight. I injured my wrist stowing the cart. As I was sitting down, I noticed my wrist was swollen and bruised.
