Narrative:

On arrival to orlando executive airport, I was getting a 182S lined up for a VFR landing on runway 25R. The ATIS called for winds at 300 degrees at 10 KTS gusting to 17 KTS. However, the plane landing before mine was given that the winds were from 300 degrees at 8 KTS. On short final, I asked tower for a wind check, but there was no response. I put in right aileron correction on the descent, however, during the flare I took them out thinking that the wind was not that bad. Upon touchdown of the mains, a gust threw the right wing up and turned the plane over to the left. Immediately, full right aileron was put in place, and as much right rudder and brakes to keep the plane safe. The turn from the gust, however, was too great and the 182S veered off the runway about 10 yards, before it came to a full stop. No damage was done to either the aircraft or the runway. Tower informed emergency to take a look and they reported 'none incident' back to tower. I just taxied back onto the runway and back to the ramp.

Narrative: ON ARR TO ORLANDO EXECUTIVE ARPT, I WAS GETTING A 182S LINED UP FOR A VFR LNDG ON RWY 25R. THE ATIS CALLED FOR WINDS AT 300 DEGS AT 10 KTS GUSTING TO 17 KTS. HOWEVER, THE PLANE LNDG BEFORE MINE WAS GIVEN THAT THE WINDS WERE FROM 300 DEGS AT 8 KTS. ON SHORT FINAL, I ASKED TWR FOR A WIND CHK, BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. I PUT IN R AILERON CORRECTION ON THE DSCNT, HOWEVER, DURING THE FLARE I TOOK THEM OUT THINKING THAT THE WIND WAS NOT THAT BAD. UPON TOUCHDOWN OF THE MAINS, A GUST THREW THE R WING UP AND TURNED THE PLANE OVER TO THE L. IMMEDIATELY, FULL R AILERON WAS PUT IN PLACE, AND AS MUCH R RUDDER AND BRAKES TO KEEP THE PLANE SAFE. THE TURN FROM THE GUST, HOWEVER, WAS TOO GREAT AND THE 182S VEERED OFF THE RWY ABOUT 10 YARDS, BEFORE IT CAME TO A FULL STOP. NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO EITHER THE ACFT OR THE RWY. TWR INFORMED EMER TO TAKE A LOOK AND THEY RPTED 'NONE INCIDENT' BACK TO TWR. I JUST TAXIED BACK ONTO THE RWY AND BACK TO THE RAMP.
