Narrative:
A visual approach was briefed and flown to runway 2L at bna. The PF briefed a full rollout to the end for taxiway B exit. A last min rudder input by PF, caused a touchdown approximately 2000 ft beyond threshold on-speed. Aircraft continued rollout normally. PNF became concerned about rollout and lack of braking by PF, and began to call out 4000 ft remaining down to 1000 ft. At 2000 ft remaining, PNF also called 60 KTS. PF began to brake forcefully, as taxiway B came into view. As aircraft decelerated, anti-lock brakes began to cycle, and brakes began to groan. Aircraft was still above normal taxi speed as PF began to turn towards taxiway B. Brakes were still groaning as aircraft started a slow turn. Aircraft nosewheel just missed exiting the taxiway and a taxi light, but remained on the asphalt. Both pilots and a jump seat pilot conferred, and agreed the aircraft never left the prepared surface, so the aircraft was taxied to the gate. Remaining taxi was uneventful.

Narrative: A VISUAL APCH WAS BRIEFED AND FLOWN TO RWY 2L AT BNA. THE PF BRIEFED A FULL ROLLOUT TO THE END FOR TXWY B EXIT. A LAST MIN RUDDER INPUT BY PF, CAUSED A TOUCHDOWN APPROX 2000 FT BEYOND THRESHOLD ON-SPD. ACFT CONTINUED ROLLOUT NORMALLY. PNF BECAME CONCERNED ABOUT ROLLOUT AND LACK OF BRAKING BY PF, AND BEGAN TO CALL OUT 4000 FT REMAINING DOWN TO 1000 FT. AT 2000 FT REMAINING, PNF ALSO CALLED 60 KTS. PF BEGAN TO BRAKE FORCEFULLY, AS TXWY B CAME INTO VIEW. AS ACFT DECELERATED, ANTI-LOCK BRAKES BEGAN TO CYCLE, AND BRAKES BEGAN TO GROAN. ACFT WAS STILL ABOVE NORMAL TAXI SPD AS PF BEGAN TO TURN TOWARDS TXWY B. BRAKES WERE STILL GROANING AS ACFT STARTED A SLOW TURN. ACFT NOSEWHEEL JUST MISSED EXITING THE TXWY AND A TAXI LIGHT, BUT REMAINED ON THE ASPHALT. BOTH PLTS AND A JUMP SEAT PLT CONFERRED, AND AGREED THE ACFT NEVER LEFT THE PREPARED SURFACE, SO THE ACFT WAS TAXIED TO THE GATE. REMAINING TAXI WAS UNEVENTFUL.
