Narrative:
Aircraft comes to gate with: 'left reverser amber light came on after approximately 30 mins of flight. No vibrations or other abnormal indications. Light went out after gear lowered and reverser functioned normal on landing. Light out now.' log page #wvxxy. Under direction of maintenance control wxyxyx clear log page. Pull circuit breakers amber and blue l-hand reverser indications and collar and then go to log page wvxxx and add to remarks that I pulled and collared circuit breakers to the exiting MEL already applied to l-hand reverser, and leave on MEL and return to service. I did this relying on maintenance control's direction.
