Narrative:

A new clearance had been issued for flight between sua-hpn. First officer edited flight plan in GPS but failed to omit diw which took us into warning areas offshore. Better communication between crew members such as route verification would have avoided this occurrence.

Narrative: A NEW CLRNC HAD BEEN ISSUED FOR FLT BTWN SUA-HPN. FO EDITED FLT PLAN IN GPS BUT FAILED TO OMIT DIW WHICH TOOK US INTO WARNING AREAS OFFSHORE. BETTER COM BTWN CREW MEMBERS SUCH AS RTE VERIFICATION WOULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS OCCURRENCE.
