Narrative:
This PIC was north of teb and ewr class B airspace, and descended under the class B airspace to approach teb. Contacted tower to approach teb and was given a squawk code and told to call again on downwind. PIC made visual identify of airfield which turned out to be ewr, not teb. This was PIC's first solo after many IFR training flts. Ewr controller contacted PIC, advised of class B penetration and vectored toward teb. PIC complied and called teb tower to report 4 mi final. PIC was just beginning to realize actual position by pilotage when contacted by ATC.
