First officer flying. During leveloff, went through 15000 ft to 15500 ft. Correction made. No conflict with other traffic. Lack of autoplt use noted. Aircraft in turbulence air. Captain caught altitude deviation as altitude alert went off. No major distrs in cockpit at time. Cause: first officer inattn to leveloff altitude, captain not supervising enough.
