Narrative:

After gate departure in ZZZ we were informed that we had departed the gate over our maximum taxi weight. This was because of a load control error, and caused us well over a 1 hour delay for return to gate and maintenance inspection. When we redeparted we incurred some additional taxi delays because of other flts landing and departing. I truthfully explained our error several times to the passenger. Dispatch, loads, and everyone in ZZZ was well aware of what happened. On arrival in XXX, the agents who were handling the misconnects were basing everything on our delay having been ATC related because that's the way it was coded in the computer. I knew the truth, as did all the passenger. When I asked the agent about it, she tersely explained that that's what it says and it can't be changed. This is the third time this or something similar has happened to me. Each flight originated in ZZZ. Either the agents are not trained to read the information correctly, or someone is purposely and fraudulently entering the nature of the delays when it is the company's fault. I tell my passenger the truth early and often, only to have them lied to later as a result of either bad agent training or outright cpr deceit.

Title: AN MD80 AFTER GATE DEP THE TRIP IS CALLED BACK TO GATE FOR OVERWT INSPECTION DUE TO LOAD PLANNER ERROR. DELAY CHARGED TO ATC.

Narrative: AFTER GATE DEP IN ZZZ WE WERE INFORMED THAT WE HAD DEPARTED THE GATE OVER OUR MAX TAXI WT. THIS WAS BECAUSE OF A LOAD CTL ERROR, AND CAUSED US WELL OVER A 1 HR DELAY FOR RETURN TO GATE AND MAINT INSPECTION. WHEN WE REDEPARTED WE INCURRED SOME ADDITIONAL TAXI DELAYS BECAUSE OF OTHER FLTS LNDG AND DEPARTING. I TRUTHFULLY EXPLAINED OUR ERROR SEVERAL TIMES TO THE PAX. DISPATCH, LOADS, AND EVERYONE IN ZZZ WAS WELL AWARE OF WHAT HAPPENED. ON ARR IN XXX, THE AGENTS WHO WERE HANDLING THE MISCONNECTS WERE BASING EVERYTHING ON OUR DELAY HAVING BEEN ATC RELATED BECAUSE THAT'S THE WAY IT WAS CODED IN THE COMPUTER. I KNEW THE TRUTH, AS DID ALL THE PAX. WHEN I ASKED THE AGENT ABOUT IT, SHE TERSELY EXPLAINED THAT THAT'S WHAT IT SAYS AND IT CAN'T BE CHANGED. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS OR SOMETHING SIMILAR HAS HAPPENED TO ME. EACH FLT ORIGINATED IN ZZZ. EITHER THE AGENTS ARE NOT TRAINED TO READ THE INFO CORRECTLY, OR SOMEONE IS PURPOSELY AND FRAUDULENTLY ENTERING THE NATURE OF THE DELAYS WHEN IT IS THE COMPANY'S FAULT. I TELL MY PAX THE TRUTH EARLY AND OFTEN, ONLY TO HAVE THEM LIED TO LATER AS A RESULT OF EITHER BAD AGENT TRAINING OR OUTRIGHT CPR DECEIT.
