Narrative:
B737-300 aircraft #xyz log #wvwv '#4 main tire showing cord' written up on may/wed/00, air carrier flight abc. Repetitive MEL expiration was reviewed prior to departure of air carrier flight abc may/wed/00. The number of lndgs remaining on the #4 main tire were miscalculated by maintenance, the first officer, and myself. We had a mechanic in the cockpit, to fix another problem, and still didn't catch the mistake. We should have had it changed! Aircraft flown to XXX, no problems. Flight abc may/wed/00 XXX direct ZZZ. (The logbook had so many entries, and several pages were pulled over the last 2 days, a simple count of lndgs was not possible.)
