Narrative:
We were holding 25 NM northeast of ott VOR. After 30 mins of holding, we were released from holding and cleared to make one more turn in holding and then continue on via dupont 4 arrival. The FMC was misprogrammed to return to ott VOR instead of the next fix of jaybo. The aircraft turned left instead of right to continue on STAR route. As we were correcting, ATC noticed the error also and told us to turn further right to avoid traffic ahead and not to descend any lower.
