Narrative:

I was involved with trying to avoid thunderstorm buildups as I approached my destination. Listened to ATIS while monitoring control frequency, I missed a call according to the controller. I will listen to the 'controller only' in the future and ask permission to attentively listen to ATIS.

Narrative: I WAS INVOLVED WITH TRYING TO AVOID TSTM BUILDUPS AS I APCHED MY DEST. LISTENED TO ATIS WHILE MONITORING CTL FREQ, I MISSED A CALL ACCORDING TO THE CTLR. I WILL LISTEN TO THE 'CTLR ONLY' IN THE FUTURE AND ASK PERMISSION TO ATTENTIVELY LISTEN TO ATIS.
