Narrative:
After the meal service, walking through cabin, I picked up 3 'straggler' meal trays and took them to the aft galley (B767), stuffed the trays into a parked cart. When I pulled my hand out, a fork had lodged in my right thumb (approximately 1/4 inch into the thumb). Flight attendant #6 assisted me with an iodine wipe and a bandage. Upon arrival in mia, I called industrial injury center to report my injury. The next day, I contacted our injury-on-duty personnel (xx). They assisted by providing the address of a clinic, where I was tested for bloodborne pathogens, given hepatitis 'a' and tetanus shots. I will be going back for further blood tests and 2 more hepatitis vaccinations.
