Captain's headset was cutting out and missed part of the clearance. Departure said we were to fly a left turn to 010 degrees on departure -- not right as we did. Departure mentioned it was 'no problem, not to worry, no conflict.' to prevent a recurrence, put speaker on during the clearance.

Title: CREW TURNS THE WRONG DIRECTION AFTER TKOF FROM SACRAMENTO, CA. THEY COMPLAIN OF HEADSET PROBS DURING RECEIPT OF CLRNC.
