Narrative:
On aug/sat/00, at approximately XA20Z I was operating flight XXX from lax to phx for air carrier. We were descending through about FL230 into the phoenix area and on the arlin arrival, when I noticed the right center hydraulic pump had failed. I was just about to troubleshoot the problem when the icas system alerted us to an engine flameout on the #2 engine. My first officer ran the quick reference items as per the emergency checklist and noticing no apparent reason for engine failure I elected to try a re-start. This was successful and with all normal engine indications and with no perceived threat to safety I continued normally to phoenix where company maintenance was alerted to meet our flight. After landing and upon taxiing to the gate we noticed that displayed on the status page of our icas was a message that we had lost a low pressure fuel pump.
