Narrative:

I have witnessed and confronted the employees of contract catering service, while performing their service on numerous MD80 aircraft through the aft galley service door, without using the engine inlet cover prescribed in air carrier policy to prevent the introduction of FOD. I have brought this to the attention of air carrier management a number of times, here in ZZZ, us. The response to corrective action made by representatives of all companies involved has been reassuring words, but the repetitive actions have convinced me to submit this concern to the safety committee to find a remedy.
