Narrative:
We were preparing the aircraft/passenger for landing. The crew had advised us that there were storms in the area and that we should stow all equipment and prepare to take our seats (jump seats) for landing. We were approximately 20-30 mins from landing. There was a sudden shaking and we apparently dropped, because my feet came off the floor totally. I quickly grabbed the assist handle in the galley and only banged my knee against one of the compartment doors. I was not hurt. We experienced turbulence off and on for approximately another 5-10 mins. One of the flight attendants was injured and removed via stretcher when we landed. I do not know the extent of her injuries. The galley items that had not yet been stowed, flew around and fell to the floor. The one instance where I came off the floor, was enough to throw a cockpit crew member and 2 flight attendants, who were in the business galley, to the floor. As soon as we were able to safely maneuver around the aircraft, we checked the passenger. And to my knowledge none were injured. It has been many yrs since I remember hitting turbulence that severe.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B777, NRT-ORD. SEVERE TURB ON DSCNT INTO ORD. SEVERAL CABIN ATTENDANTS INJURED, 1 CARRIED OFF IN STRETCHER.
Narrative: WE WERE PREPARING THE ACFT/PAX FOR LNDG. THE CREW HAD ADVISED US THAT THERE WERE STORMS IN THE AREA AND THAT WE SHOULD STOW ALL EQUIP AND PREPARE TO TAKE OUR SEATS (JUMP SEATS) FOR LNDG. WE WERE APPROX 20-30 MINS FROM LNDG. THERE WAS A SUDDEN SHAKING AND WE APPARENTLY DROPPED, BECAUSE MY FEET CAME OFF THE FLOOR TOTALLY.
