Narrative:

A passenger was smoking in the lavatory and was warned not to smoke again, and was told of the safety hazard to the aircraft. Two hours later, he again went into the aircraft lavatory and began smoking again. He repeatedly flushed the toilet to get rid of the smoke (flushing 9 times). When he came out of the lavatory he was spoken to again, but was very rude, and denied smoking, even though we could smell smoke on him and in the lavatory. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that she wasn't actually involved in all of the incidents, but that the young man was vulgar and thought he could just continue smoking in the lavatory without any consequences. Auths did meet the flight, but she doesn't know if the passenger was fined.
