Narrative:
While climbing out of msy, we were cleared to climb and maintain 7000 ft. At approximately 7200 ft, we realized we had just passed our assigned altitude. By the time I made the correction back to 7000 ft, we had ballooned to 7500 ft. We continued our flight without further incident.
