Narrative:

Jump seat rider not on closeout paperwork. Had an FAA airworthiness inspector onboard. He presented a hand-written boarding pass as the computers were down. We received our closeout, but did not notice that no jump seat rider was listed. Just prior to takeoff, he brought it to our attention. We called for and received a proper closeout before takeoff. Perhaps if boarding passes are hand-written a copy should be held at the gate to remind agents to put the jump seater in the computer when they come back.
