Narrative:
Cleared to 13000 ft, expedite through 8000 ft, then turned northeast. Coming up on 10000 ft, TCASII TA traffic was announced. Traffic was at 11200 ft. We stopped climb at 10000 ft (plenty of separation). This is twice in 4 months where TCASII really helped. I'm not sure I would fly in a busy area without it.

Title: MLG CREW HAD TCASII IN ZAU CLASS E AIRSPACE.
Narrative: CLRED TO 13000 FT, EXPEDITE THROUGH 8000 FT, THEN TURNED NE. COMING UP ON 10000 FT, TCASII TA TFC WAS ANNOUNCED. TFC WAS AT 11200 FT. WE STOPPED CLB AT 10000 FT (PLENTY OF SEPARATION). THIS IS TWICE IN 4 MONTHS WHERE TCASII REALLY HELPED. I'M NOT SURE I WOULD FLY IN A BUSY AREA WITHOUT IT.
