Narrative:
This incident happened on flight from hpn to ord on oct/xa/00. This incident happened in first class during boarding. Flight attendant #2 shared with me that the passenger seated at xb and xa came on with several carry-ONS and the couple was very rude and verbally abusive to her, regarding putting their carry-on in the overhead bin. Both passenger did not want to comply in stowing their carry-ONS and hand bag. They wanted to know what the FAA requirements were regarding stowing their carry-ONS and hand bag, as both passenger were seated at the bulkhead. The passenger started painting their fingers in the #2 flight attendants face. The #2 flight attendant shared this information with the captain, and the captain told her 'do not deal with these passenger.' at this time, I was in my first class galley. I went to do my cabin safety check and asked the passenger to stow her hand bag in the overhead bin or the coat closet for takeoff and landing, and her husband, seated in xb, mumbled something to me, and his wife seated at xa threw her hand bag at me and it hit me in my abdomen. I put the passenger hand bag in the coat closet and proceeded to the flight deck and told the captain that 'a passenger just threw her hand bag in my abdomen, that I'm in pain and I want them removed from this flight.' the captain took the husband outside on the jetbridge and talked only to the husband. I do not know what the captain said to the husband. The captain did not speak to the passenger that assaulted me. The captain decided to keep the passenger on board the flight. I was very upset and did not share this with the captain. I have 2 witnesses that saw the whole incident and they were very appalled at what the passenger had done to me. During the flight from hpn to ord, I stated to the captain if I should pursue this situation, and the captain stated to me that 'you should pursue this because the passenger are old, and our airlines is not going to do anything about it, but give the couple a million frequent mi for their inconvenience.' I was in pain that evening and started spotting. I did not share anything with the captain. I went to see a physician at ord that next evening.

Narrative: THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED ON FLT FROM HPN TO ORD ON OCT/XA/00. THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED IN FIRST CLASS DURING BOARDING. FLT ATTENDANT #2 SHARED WITH ME THAT THE PAX SEATED AT XB AND XA CAME ON WITH SEVERAL CARRY-ONS AND THE COUPLE WAS VERY RUDE AND VERBALLY ABUSIVE TO HER, REGARDING PUTTING THEIR CARRY-ON IN THE OVERHEAD BIN. BOTH PAX DID NOT WANT TO COMPLY IN STOWING THEIR CARRY-ONS AND HAND BAG. THEY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT THE FAA REQUIREMENTS WERE REGARDING STOWING THEIR CARRY-ONS AND HAND BAG, AS BOTH PAX WERE SEATED AT THE BULKHEAD. THE PAX STARTED PAINTING THEIR FINGERS IN THE #2 FLT ATTENDANTS FACE. THE #2 FLT ATTENDANT SHARED THIS INFO WITH THE CAPT, AND THE CAPT TOLD HER 'DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PAX.' AT THIS TIME, I WAS IN MY FIRST CLASS GALLEY. I WENT TO DO MY CABIN SAFETY CHK AND ASKED THE PAX TO STOW HER HAND BAG IN THE OVERHEAD BIN OR THE COAT CLOSET FOR TKOF AND LNDG, AND HER HUSBAND, SEATED IN XB, MUMBLED SOMETHING TO ME, AND HIS WIFE SEATED AT XA THREW HER HAND BAG AT ME AND IT HIT ME IN MY ABDOMEN. I PUT THE PAX HAND BAG IN THE COAT CLOSET AND PROCEEDED TO THE FLT DECK AND TOLD THE CAPT THAT 'A PAX JUST THREW HER HAND BAG IN MY ABDOMEN, THAT I'M IN PAIN AND I WANT THEM REMOVED FROM THIS FLT.' THE CAPT TOOK THE HUSBAND OUTSIDE ON THE JETBRIDGE AND TALKED ONLY TO THE HUSBAND. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE CAPT SAID TO THE HUSBAND. THE CAPT DID NOT SPEAK TO THE PAX THAT ASSAULTED ME. THE CAPT DECIDED TO KEEP THE PAX ON BOARD THE FLT. I WAS VERY UPSET AND DID NOT SHARE THIS WITH THE CAPT. I HAVE 2 WITNESSES THAT SAW THE WHOLE INCIDENT AND THEY WERE VERY APPALLED AT WHAT THE PAX HAD DONE TO ME. DURING THE FLT FROM HPN TO ORD, I STATED TO THE CAPT IF I SHOULD PURSUE THIS SIT, AND THE CAPT STATED TO ME THAT 'YOU SHOULD PURSUE THIS BECAUSE THE PAX ARE OLD, AND OUR AIRLINES IS NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, BUT GIVE THE COUPLE A MILLION FREQUENT MI FOR THEIR INCONVENIENCE.' I WAS IN PAIN THAT EVENING AND STARTED SPOTTING. I DID NOT SHARE ANYTHING WITH THE CAPT. I WENT TO SEE A PHYSICIAN AT ORD THAT NEXT EVENING.
