Narrative:

Landing on runway 27L spoiler deployed normally then retracted. The airplane skipped and became airborne again. After landing again, the spoiler had to be deployed and held deployed manually. After clearing the runway we noticed the 'autospoiler do not use' light on. This light was not illuminated during the approach. Once we xferred power to the APU, the light went out. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the cause of the spoilers to immediately retract after deploying is unknown as maintenance did not advise the crew. The reporter said incidents of this type of spoiler action are sometimes reported when landing on a wet runway and hydroplaning occurs.
