Narrative:
I just began the before takeoff check when the captain stated 'we had just crossed the hold short line for runway 34L.' at that time we were on taxiway papa.taxiway papa is poorly lit and does not have any type of hold short lights. The painted lines are also unidentifiable. We estimated that we went through the line by 50 ft. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that on a subsequent flight he observed that the hold short lines for runway 10/28 have deteriorated to the point that they are difficult to see in daylight conditions. His incident occurred at night.
