Narrative:
Landed day without contacting tower and/or receiving landing clearance. At time of handoff to tower, the first officer was having some trouble tracking the ILS due to a 35-40 degree crab angle due to crosswind. After being handed off, I did ask for a surface wind check and got it, but it was from the approach controller. I thought I had switched to tower, but hadn't. After landing, when we found out and contacted the tower, they said there was no conflict or problem.
