Narrative:
On the 4TH day of an otherwise uneventful trip, we were flying the ILS runway 22 approach to evv. At night, in IMC, we had 80 degrees of crosswind, turbulence and the runway was rptedly covered with snow. The conditions were not extraordinary, but they kept me somewhat preoccupied. Shortly before reaching the FAF, the captain called for 'propellers 100%' but accidentally I moved the power levers instead of the condition levers. Initially the propeller speed gauges did not move, but the 'engine noise' increased as usual. I glanced over to my side to check our position in reference to the FAF. That is when I noticed an increase in airspeed, louder than usual engine sounds and still not adequate propeller speed. I immediately pulled the power levers back and called out my mistake, which was acknowledged by the captain right away. 10-12 seconds after the 'propellers 100%' command was issued, all engine controls were back to normal and we landed without further complications. In the meantime, however, engine limitations were exceeded and the margin of safety was reduced.

Title: AN EMBRAER 120 AT FAF HAS THE PWR LEVERS ADVANCED INADVERTENTLY INSTEAD OF THE CONDITION CTL CAUSING AN ENG AND PROP OVERSPD CONDITION.
Narrative: ON THE 4TH DAY OF AN OTHERWISE UNEVENTFUL TRIP, WE WERE FLYING THE ILS RWY 22 APCH TO EVV. AT NIGHT, IN IMC, WE HAD 80 DEGS OF XWIND, TURB AND THE RWY WAS RPTEDLY COVERED WITH SNOW. THE CONDITIONS WERE NOT EXTRAORDINARY, BUT THEY KEPT ME SOMEWHAT PREOCCUPIED. SHORTLY BEFORE REACHING THE FAF, THE CAPT CALLED FOR 'PROPS 100%' BUT ACCIDENTALLY I MOVED THE PWR LEVERS INSTEAD OF THE CONDITION LEVERS. INITIALLY THE PROPELLER SPEED GAUGES DID NOT MOVE, BUT THE 'ENG NOISE' INCREASED AS USUAL. I GLANCED OVER TO MY SIDE TO CHK OUR POS IN REF TO THE FAF. THAT IS WHEN I NOTICED AN INCREASE IN AIRSPD, LOUDER THAN USUAL ENG SOUNDS AND STILL NOT ADEQUATE PROPELLER SPEED. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED THE PWR LEVERS BACK AND CALLED OUT MY MISTAKE, WHICH WAS ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE CAPT RIGHT AWAY. 10-12 SECONDS AFTER THE 'PROPS 100%' COMMAND WAS ISSUED, ALL ENG CTLS WERE BACK TO NORMAL AND WE LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER COMPLICATIONS. IN THE MEANTIME, HOWEVER, ENG LIMITATIONS WERE EXCEEDED AND THE MARGIN OF SAFETY WAS REDUCED.
