Narrative:
Logbook open item. On preflight of the aircraft prior to departing dfw, I looked at the logbook and noticed 2 deferred items -- #1 being the ARTS system inoperative, and #2 being an EPR bug discrepancy which had been corrected. I did not notice any more items in the book. Prior to departure, the captain and I reviewed the MEL for the ARTS system discrepancy and proceeded with the flight. Upon arrival at atl, the captain discovered an open item in a separate section of the log. The discrepancy was for a cabin item. Maintenance was called at atl and the item was cleared. In the future, I will look at the first page of all logbook sections to ensure there are no other open items.
