Narrative:

Takeoff from dca turned left to 300 degree heading to intercept 328 degree radial. Went through radial to west. Started turn back and wind carried me through radial to east. Wind was 250 degrees at 60 KTS. I then corrected back to radial and continued to climb. There was no positive way to tell how far to the east we got. There was no call from ATC to indicate a problem. I do not believe we got into P-56, but crews should be aware of strong winds from the west when departing in IFR. It took almost 40 degrees of crab to maintain the radial.
