After leveloff at FL260, realized failure to set 29.92 and we were 700 ft off altitude when talking to ZNY. No traffic nearby at our altitude and ZNY was notified as soon as we realized our situation.

Narrative: AFTER LEVELOFF AT FL260, REALIZED FAILURE TO SET 29.92 AND WE WERE 700 FT OFF ALT WHEN TALKING TO ZNY. NO TFC NEARBY AT OUR ALT AND ZNY WAS NOTIFIED AS SOON AS WE REALIZED OUR SIT.
