Narrative:
Taxi out from ramp tuluca, mexico. We were in an A300, cleared to back taxi from the end of runway 15 to the approach end. (There are no parallel txwys.) as we passed the midfield taxiway to the main terminal, tower finished talking to another aircraft in spanish (neither of us speak spanish). Tower then asked us to speed up for another aircraft on final for runway 15. It was then the other aircraft turned all their lights on and we saw him. As we approached the turnaround point, tower cleared us into position and hold. We both looked at the aircraft on final and agreed we could take off before the other aircraft landed. (In my opinion, the turnaround point was not providing enough space for us to be clear of the runway.) we taxied into position ready for takeoff and tower would not clear us for takeoff. After approximately 15-20 seconds, they asked us to turn our lights off. (We had all lights on entire time on runway.) then we saw the other aircraft land over in front of us. Tower never advised us of their intentions.

Title: CPR JET LANDED OVER TOP OF AN A300 IN POS AND HOLDING ON THE RWY AT MMTO.
Narrative: TAXI OUT FROM RAMP TULUCA, MEXICO. WE WERE IN AN A300, CLRED TO BACK TAXI FROM THE END OF RWY 15 TO THE APCH END. (THERE ARE NO PARALLEL TXWYS.) AS WE PASSED THE MIDFIELD TXWY TO THE MAIN TERMINAL, TWR FINISHED TALKING TO ANOTHER ACFT IN SPANISH (NEITHER OF US SPEAK SPANISH). TWR THEN ASKED US TO SPD UP FOR ANOTHER ACFT ON FINAL FOR RWY 15. IT WAS THEN THE OTHER ACFT TURNED ALL THEIR LIGHTS ON AND WE SAW HIM. AS WE APCHED THE TURNAROUND POINT, TWR CLRED US INTO POS AND HOLD. WE BOTH LOOKED AT THE ACFT ON FINAL AND AGREED WE COULD TAKE OFF BEFORE THE OTHER ACFT LANDED. (IN MY OPINION, THE TURNAROUND POINT WAS NOT PROVIDING ENOUGH SPACE FOR US TO BE CLR OF THE RWY.) WE TAXIED INTO POS READY FOR TKOF AND TWR WOULD NOT CLR US FOR TKOF. AFTER APPROX 15-20 SECONDS, THEY ASKED US TO TURN OUR LIGHTS OFF. (WE HAD ALL LIGHTS ON ENTIRE TIME ON RWY.) THEN WE SAW THE OTHER ACFT LAND OVER IN FRONT OF US. TWR NEVER ADVISED US OF THEIR INTENTIONS.
