Narrative:
ATC frequency error. On frequency change from ZJX to mco approach my first officer read back and entered wrong frequency. By the time we figured this out we were too close to mco to make sure descent to runway 18R. We received vectors to descend and came back for an uneventful landing on runway 18L. Both the first officer and I were very fatigued at this time due to an early sign in and a long duty day.
