Narrative:
While returning to mission base from search area southeast of dvk, climbed from 2000 ft MSL to 3000 ft MSL. While passing dvk, called CTAF and announced transit intentions south to north. Approximately 4-5 NM north of dvk, white plane with red and black stripes passed overhead from 11 O'clock position to 5 O'clock position at 400 ft or less. Monitoring dvk CTAF at time, no announcement from other aircraft. I nosed my plane over,. Other plane within 100 ft horizontal when sighted. No damage, no injuries. Mishap report form completed at debriefing. Bad time for this to happen for us.
