Narrative:
Greetings! During boarding of flight on jun/xa/01, the #2 flight attendant called me to advise me of a situation in main cabin. He said he was trying to make room in an overhead bin and asked passenger around the overhead bin 'whose bag is this?' a lady replied 'mine' at the same time a male passenger in the area said 'I wouldn't move that bag if I was you, there is a bomb in it.' he then explained to the passenger not to make jokes about the safety of the aircraft. He further explained the seriousness of the situation and informed the passenger that he could call the police. The passenger replied 'call the police!' after hearing this story, I advised the captain of the situation and he said he wanted that passenger off, he asked me to get the agent. I advised the agent and he came and spoke with the captain, then removed the passenger from the aircraft. Conversation took place on the jetbridge between the supervisor (female), #2 flight attendant, and the passenger. Another supervisor (male) arrived and began inquiring about the situation. The passenger's checked luggage was removed and the female supervisor asked for a statement from the #2 flight attendant. I assisted the #2 flight attendant in writing the statement and we gave it to the female supervisor as the aircraft door was being closed.
